The Match 3 Birthday Scholarship Sweepstakes will be conducted from September 18, 2008 and end on March 3, 2009. |

To participate, a player must submit a non-winning Virginia Lottery Match 3 ticket, available for purchase during the sweepstakes period. Players may enter by US mail, via the Internet or by text message. |
|
In conjunction with this Sweepstakes, one (1) drawing will take place on March 4, 2009 to select the winners for this Sweepstakes. |
|
All Sweepstakes entries must be received at the Lottery by 11:59 pm on March 3, 2009 to be eligible to participate in the March 4, 2009 Sweepstakes.

Cash cannot be substituted for any Scholarship Prize. |
|
The Match 3 Birthday Scholarship Sweepstakes is open to players 18 years of age or older. Players may be required to provide proof of their date of birth. |

A player may enter the Match 3 Birthday Scholarship Sweepstakes more than once as long as a different non-winning Match 3 ticket is submitted with each entry. However, a player is eligible to win only one prize. |

All
entries, whether
submitted through the US mail,
on the Internet or via text message, have an equal
chance of winning a prize. |

Chances
of winning any prize in the Match 3 Birthday Scholarship Sweepstakes depend on the
number of total entries. |

The
Virginia Lottery
will not be responsible
for entries submitted
incorrectly,
or received before
theSeptember 18, 2008 start date
or after theMarch 3, 2009 entry deadline
date. Such entries
shall be deemed

The Winners selected will each be notified by an official letter, email or text message sent by the Virginia Lottery. Included with the congratulatory letter will be a Claim form, an Affidavit of Eligibility form, return envelope and a complete copy of the Virginia Lottery’s Match 3 Birthday Scholarship Sweepstakes Rules.
Winners who fail to respond to their winner notification will forfeit their Prize. |
